We are currently a group of seven. That is a lot more of a positive response than I'd expected. GJ guys you rule.

So here are the things that I have decided because shhh it was my idea I get to be bossy:
1. We are using OCs, not fandom characters.
2. There will be fantasy, so don't be shy about making your character have element superpowers or wings or idk they're Stephen Colbert and Batman's assbaby or something.
3. No set posting order. Sorry but if one character idles out I don't want the whole thing to chug to an awkward halt. If you're worried about posting over top each other I can also post an OOC thread for plotting and discussion and crap like that.

If this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, don't feel bad about going "actually I'mna bow out."

OC Adventure Setting?

(ETA: If it turns out that nobody has a preference, then just say so and I'll go ahead and pick one for us at random. I'm cool like that. BD)

ETA AGAIN THIS IS IMPORTANT: Okay, so we have like ten people considering this. In interest of keeping the two groups small, I propose having two adventures with groups of around five people each. So I need further input from you guys:
1. Are you okay with two groups?
2. Both Essay and Carol have mentioned Pokemon(Carol, I'm not sure if you're definite on this or not, though). Are any of you interested in making one group a pogle!OC-specific group and having the other be totally-OC-OCs?

I have two questions of a most grave importance:
1. Would anyone care to put thebestmusebox to use with a big giant pogleparty? I do not have a very good feel for Adreya yet and brushing off my billions of dorky gijinka designs made me kind of want to play them again.
2. Would anyone like to do icon trades? One of my favourite parts of my SBG OCs, admittedly, is having icons from all different peoples.

Lately I've been thinking about seeing if I can wrangle up a group of three or four who would want to RP a ~fantastic adventure~. I miss those kinds of RPs. A smaller group having a thrilling life on the road, seeing the sights, fighting the bad guys, and having total nakama moments. I know it's cheesy shonen manga crap but man I eat it all up.

So uh yeah any thoughts? Also since most aren't doing apps tell me a bit about your characters? I don't want to app a spunky shonentard if there are like 12 shonentards there already. If there are 12 shonentards then I would wanna app a baaad guyyy so they could have heroic crimefighting times and talk about believing in their nakama and shit. So like. I enjoy filling gaps. Yeah.

If you could tell the whole entire internet one thing then what would you say?

I think mine would be: stop being so socially anxious. If you're super uncomfortable then it shows in your body language and the things you say and it just makes it worse for everyone. Just chill out and relax and don't fret over every little thing and things will be a-ok.

idk why but social anxiety is something that 75% of the people I meet on the internet have. Guys what makes you nervous when you're out with people? For me, I'd just get nervous that I wouldn't have a lot to say because I had boring hobbies and, as a general rule, I do not discuss my internet hobbies with IRL ever because they are completely dorky and embarrassing. And yet the less I care about it the more OK I am with pauses and the easier it is to keep a conversation flowing/think up new topics.

I'd hate to think that pokedressing and SBG are my only options for playing pogle OCs. Maybe I'll keep my fingers crossed for Poffin Town.

I love seeing SBG arts you have no idea. How we managed to get so many talented people in one RP is beyond me, man.

Speaking of RPs ugh I should be hiatusing. Everything ever is due this month I do not need to give myself distractions. I feel bad about hiatusing right when I'm trying to crawl out of inactivity in Mayfield, I can't bear to part with SBG now that my "hurrr let's be really inactive for like three months" phase is over, and Luceti... s-sob I think I might have to drop it unless things calm down soon. All I'm doing is hiatusing forever because it's just way too fast. I... don't want to drop though. 8( It's fun and I love my castmates. Maybe I can come back once things quiet down? Hnnn I wish I could tack 5 extra hours onto the day.

I should also be finishing that Aile app for the Arm before my reserve runs out. And... I should also actually be checking the Arm. It would look pretty bad of me to be all "OH MAN I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL IT OPENS let me troll dear_mun for potential castmates forever" and then not even notice once it does open. Maybe when I have a free minute I should GET ADVERTISING everywhere all over. I wonder when the next ATP is.

In other news I had a really weird dream the other night. I was visiting Stacey in Saskatoon, except for some reason Saskatoon looked like Balgonie and she was staying in this crappy little dorm-style house. Her room was really big and Kristy was there too. We did some stuff I can't remember, then went into the main lobby common room thing. There were a bunch of fat white trailer trash people playing Family Feud on the Wii and they were all on their feet, jumping and flapping their arms like it was the wii olympics or something. This black dude was sitting on the couch and loling at them, so we kinda plunked down and loled too. So then the dude like tried to threaten me to give him money, but he was like... really half-assed about it so I was like "yyyyeah no I'm good thanks." So me and Kristy left, but because I had parked a zillion miles away because I couldn't find the place, I had some trekking to do. I cut through this green little back alley with a dirt path, and there was this old white guy running at me. So I screamed. Then he stopped and just grinned at me and I went "eh heh heh you scared me" like he was just going for a jog or something, but in my heart of hearts I KNEW he was out to do terrible things to me for not giving that other guy my wallet. So then I woke up and went to class.

Hey brain maybe you should just have SBG dreams ok? Except I feel like the biggest dork in the world when I dream about internet/video games/nerd hobbies of mine.

I'm digging for articles/resources etc. that I can apply the class material to. So uh anyone have any links that they think could be applied to social psychology? s-sob I am starting to think that three games is completely my limit, activity-wise.

s-sob we're not renewing the plates on the vigor because it probably won't start in the cold. Being able to drive to class instead of wasting the whole day on campus, I am going to miss you. 8( You never realize how much you value privacy and silence until you don't have them anymore. I totally just bought a bunch of DVDs so I could watch them on the treadmill too. Exercising in the evening just messes up your sleep cycle and there is no possible way I will be able to force myself up at 6 AM each day so I can run. Oh well. I can just bring them to campus and watch them on my laptop while... not running.

I should start bringing my tablet too. I've been all "YEAH DRAW EVERYTHING" lately. Too bad I can never be bothered to go past the sketch stage. Alas, hoisted by my own petard. (Chris will probably tell me that is not the appropriate time to use that phrase, to which I submit that it is never the wrong time to say "hoisted by my own petard".)

Man, I had a weird dream. Apparently seven hours is not enough for me anymore because I keep waking up feeling exhausted and then I'm headachy and queasy for most of the day. I am gonna hafta cut back on the late nights.
